  • Condition: This flugelhorn is in excellent playing condition with a warm, rich tone and excellent response. It is a rebuild project from the best of two horns plus additional parts. Valve cluster is a U.S. made Conn while the bell and leadpipe is Monique. Valves are smooth, quick, and properly aligned. Horn can be played either left- or right-handed. New lacquer applied over work areas to protect polished brass finish--slightly different color than original. Not a factory-perfect horn, but nice none the less. Intended to be an intermediate to advanced level horn.

    Description

    This a cool, versatile flugelhorn with reverse construction to play either left-, or right-handed. The horn is a redesign from the best parts of two separate instruments.  Slides are aligned and modified to pull out easily and clear the larger bell.  It plays far better than the original Flugelhorn I started with.
    Note:  Flugelhorn is intended to be an intermediate to advanced level horn and is not factory perfect, but rather in nice working condition.
    I will include a case if I can find one to fit. Otherwise will be shipped without a case and mouthpiece.
