Great design featuring a languid Gibson Girl smoking a cigarette with curls of smoke billowing around her.
In other designs by Unger Bros. where the central figure was an Art Nouveau maiden, it was the maiden’s luxurious hair that would flow and swirl all around her.
The cigarette case could have conceivably also been used as a card case as calling cards were smaller than our modern day business cards. Business cards will NOT fit.
Wonderful antique condition with the most minor little ding, see image 1.
The case closes with a sharp click.
Great mono on the back.
Marked STERLING on the inner rim and bears the UB logo, see image.
