VINTAGE ELGIN AM MFG CO USA STERLING 14k ON STERLING SILVER COIN PURSE

Description

This is a GORGEOUS compact coin purse made out of sterling silver and is 14k gold plated. The top of the coin purse is designed with gold and silver stripes, an etched ribbon down the center, and a oval shape in the middle. The back of the coin purse is just a smooth silver and has some normal wear you would see with a vintage piece such as this. When you open this stunning piece up you find two spring loaded coin holders that still work perfectly. In front of the coin slots there is a really nice mirror that has a slot for your finger to push the mirror up. Underneath the mirror is a slot for make up or any other items. On the other fold there is a spring loaded arm to hold cash, receipts, cards, or anything else. The hallmark on the arm says "
Elgin AM. MFG. CO. Made in the USA" and in front of the it is hallmarked "14 K. Gold on Sterling Silver 114028"
This piece is in great condition. It has a slight patina from age that gives it a wonderful vintage look that will go great with your spring look!
