VINTAGE VICTORIAN REVIVAL BOOK CHAIN BRACELET FAUX GEMS

Description

Vintage unsigned Victorian Revival book chain style bracelet with faux gems in excellent condition, measuring 7.5 inches in length and 5/8 inch in maximum width. Frankly, this bracelet appears to have been unworn. Antique goldtone finish is entirely intact. All faux gems intact and bright. No dead stones.
Most probably an unmarked designer piece, this bracelet has ornate detailing: 3 heart-shaped glass faux “opal” gemstones glow with pink iridescence upon heart-shaped shields with flame motif at top, 2 diamond/square-shaped deep blue faux “lapis” gems with metallic specks are surrounded by detailed wing motif and crown, 6 faux purple “amethysts” rhinestones sparkle brightly, and 2 shields without “gems” depict a detailed gargoyle face upon shield with flame and crown motif. Note: some small specks of old glue residue are visible around each faux “lapis” gemstone which can be removed by buyer. See photo with arrow. Lovely metal stamped pattern on reverse.
